Why are you giving it away for free?

The reason given is here.

How much is the free simulator?

Its hard to believe people really ask this but they do.  The program is free, it is a complete version that will not stop running after so many days.  There are no strings attached.

Is there anything else I have to buy?

No.  The Simulator 6 gives you all the features you need to create and run simulations.  You can save the simulations and pass them on to others.  In fact the Simulator 6 comes with features that you won't find on any other simulator on the market.  We do sell an expansion pack to the simulator that offers added features that are light years ahead of any other simulator.  The total cost of the expansion pack is $15.

Does the program have a trial period?

No.  What you are downloading is the full program.  There is no trial period and nothing to buy.

How many computers can I load it on?

You are free to load the program on as many computers as you want to.  Keep in mind that each computer will have to be registered individually.

Can I have multiple registrations going to one email address?

Yes.

Does the program come with preloaded photos?

Yes, just a few to get you started.  The program was designed for you to use your own photos so that you can train on fire scenes that you may encounter in real life.

Can I use pictures of buildings in my own city?

Yes. Simulator 6 gives you the ability to import your own pictures into the program.  Simply take a picture using a digital camera, transfer it on to your computer and select import from the menu bar.  With Simulator 6 Expansion Pack, you can also import digital video.

Will Simulator 6 work with PowerPoint?

Yes.  Simulator 6 gives you two options.  With the Expansion Pack you can save PowerPoint presentations inside Simulator 6 files.  You can then open them up from within the simulation.  You can also use PowerPoint and Simulator 6 simultaneously, by using the “Alt-Tab” method in Windows to toggle back and forth between the two programs.

Can I have multiple screens displaying Simulator 6 at the same time?

There are a few different ways to display Simulator 6 on multiple monitors or screens.  Any hardware designed for running a Microsoft Windows based program on multiple monitors will work with Simulator 6. Talk to your hardware vendor for your options.

Can I run Simulator 6 run over a network?

Yes.  With the Network Server and Network Client plug-ins you can run Simulator 6 over your local area network, or over the internet.  In the network simulation the instructor can increase or decrease the smoke and fire spread of an individual computer,  a pre-defined group of computers, or of all computers at once as well as send text messages to any or all remote computers in the simulation.  Each individual participant (client) can move through the different fire scenes in the simulation and the computer will keep track of the level of the fire/smoke in all areas of the simulation.

I'm having a hard time seeing the whole screen.

The program is optimized for a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or greater.  A solution to this problem is to go into the screen properties on the desktop and resize your screen.
